Microelectronics: Minalogic strengthens its European engagement

In October, Minalogic intensified its efforts to promote our regional ecosystem at the European level and make a significant contribution to the strategic goals of the European Chips Act. From supporting regional companies at the Electronica trade fair in Munich to hosting the Silicon Europe Alliance partner meeting during Semicon Europa — also in Munich and participating in strategic discussions with the European Semiconductor Regions Alliance, the cluster reaffirms its pivotal role in Europe.

A stronger regional presence at Electronica

Minalogic organized a delegation of 10 companies from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region on the France Pavilion at Electronica in Munich, held November 12–15. This flagship event for the electronics industry provided regional companies with an opportunity to showcase their innovations to an international audience. The initiative highlights Minalogic’s mission to promote regional technological excellence and open new markets for its members.

Silicon Europe Alliance partner meeting in Munich

During Semicon Europa in Munich, the partners of the Silicon Europe Alliance gathered to review their 2024 activities under the presidency of Erasmia Dupenloup, General Manager of Minalogic. This year, the Alliance further strengthened the international reach of its events, such as the Minalogic Business Meetings, and actively participated in European projects like Silicon Eurocluster. Priorities for 2025 include supporting talent and skills in microelectronics through the Chips JU and securing funding for innovative projects from SMEs across member ecosystems.

Participation in a Chips Act roundtable

As President of the Silicon Europe Alliance, Erasmia Dupenloup participated in a roundtable on the theme “ESRA & Chips Act: Strengthening Collaboration” during the Handover Chairmanship Event of the European Semiconductor Regions Alliance (ESRA) in Turin. She highlighted the Alliance’s operational role in implementing the Chips Act, notably through the creation of a network of Semiconductor Competence Centers across Europe and the dissemination of results from the IPCEI ME/CT initiative. She also advocated for stronger collaboration between European regions and ecosystems. This intervention reaffirms Minalogic’s commitment to fostering the emergence of corridors of excellence in semiconductors across Europe.
