Located in Annecy-le-Vieux in France, MECALAC’s R&D and excavator assembly activities are centralized at the group’s head offices.
The prototypes, testing and validation department is responsible for acoustics and vibration testing inside the cab and outside the machinery. It is equipped with an OROS analyzer that is used to carry out, amongst other readings, sound power measurement campaigns.
With the 16-channel OR36, measurements are conducted in compliance with standard ISO 3744 within an optimal time period. Reports are generated automatically at the end of each measurement, providing an overview of results and minimizing data treatment at the end of the testing campaign.
