Aedvices is pleased to announce the hiring of its new Technical Director for Verification and Training to support the growth of its operations both in France and internationally.
With the establishment of its branch in Brazil and the expansion of its training offerings, Aedvices is positioning itself to ensure robust growth. To this end, Aedvices welcomes Eric Hargous as the new Technical Director for Verification.
Eric Hargous is well-acquainted with Aedvices, having worked with the company as a freelancer for over three years. In his new role, he will be responsible of the VIP development and roadmap and will manage verification teams and verification projects.
“I well know the way of working of Aedvices’ teams. By taking on the leadership of the verification activities, I aim to help each team member reach their area of excellence, providing our clients with genuine expertise to meet their needs effectively,” explains Eric Hargous. “Additionally, I plan to foster coherence and a true team spirit, which will be beneficial in ensuring Aedvices’ growth.”
Eric will also be tasked with enriching the training offerings by developing new content focused on SystemVerilog for designers and formal verification. He will be responsible for integrating new trainers and overseeing client training sessions.
A new role dedicated to verification projects and training
“Eric’s extensive knowledge in design and verification makes him the ideal person to develop our training activities. We offer a highly technical training catalog that requires expert trainers in their respective fields. Eric will be responsible for creating new modules in line with industry developments and client expectations. We will make our offerings evolve to stay at the forefront of languages and verification methodologies. Additionally, we plan to introduce new training programs in microelectronic design,” states François Cerisier, CEO of Aedvices.
Before joining Aedvices, Eric held various verification engineering positions at Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, and TDK InvenSense.
“With over 20 years of experience, Eric has developed deep expertise in verification while acquiring team management skills. His professional and personal background, which has taken him across Asia, the US, and Europe, makes him highly qualified to lead our teams in France and Brazil,” says François.
This hiring is part of Aedvices’ growth strategy, which aims to overreach 50 employees within the next two years.
