Hoomano
About
HOOMANO, founded in December, 2014 by Xavier Basset and Cyril Maitrejean, develops software for social
robots , such as Pepper and Nao (Softbank Robotics), Buddy (Blue Frog Robotics), Heasy (Hease Robotics),
and Sanbot (Qihan Tech). These machines are capable of increasingly intuitive communication and interaction
with their users, and that is solely down to the programs they contain.
HOOMANO’s core business is the creation and development of these applications by identifying and
understanding the user’s end requirements, adding its technological expertise, and taking full advantage of the
R&D advances from its AI laboratory. Its mission: to be the go-to provider for the very highest quality of user
interaction .
Over the last three years, “Powered by Hoomano” technology has established its value through intense contact
with customer experiences and the wide variety of projects conducted with them. In many sectors (insurance,
banking, local government, education, event management, the hotel business, retailing, health care for the
elderly, public services, transport), HOOMANO has developed bespoke programs to enable its customers’
robots to be useful, informative, welcoming, or just plain fun. The goal: to enable a unique and therefore
unforgettable user experience .
25,000 difference-making “user-robot” interactions are made possible every month by HOOMANO’s
expertise on an international scale, be it in France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Dubai, Japan, or Australia.
Thousands of users have thus gained an instinctive, natural grasp of a new format for communication,
learning, and entertainment through these robots .
