About
Created in 1946 for the inspection and the monitoring of hydraulic power-generating sites, the General Technical Division (DTG) has become a business unit specialised in measurement and assessment activities.
Our mission :
•Monitoring, diagnosis and forecasts for EDF Group power plants (nuclear, hydro, fossil-fired and wind energy) to assist operators in making effective safety decisions and in managing performance
•Contribute to EDF development by providing similar services to Group subsidiaries or external clients, both in France and around the world
•Develop technical skills and expertise required to operate energy production facilities, to find solutions about energy development and environmental issues
3 main fields:
-MEASUREMENT: measurement engineering, metrology, data bases
-INSPECTION : monitoring on behalf of operators
-EXPERTISE : diagnosis, forecast consulting for operators
