About
DiamFab is a Grenoble-based start-up that develops diamond solutions for the energy transition. Silicon, historically used in the conversion of high-power electrical energy, is now showing its limitations. Due to its superlative properties, synthetic diamond is considered as the ultimate semiconductor material for manufacturing converters capable of handling more power within the electrical distribution network or much more compact and lightweight for embedded applications such as electric vehicles.
Thanks to its unique know-how in synthetic diamond growth, based on 30 years of Institut-Néel CNRS R&D, DiamFab is now the only one to offer diamond ready to manufacture the power devices that will revolutionize the conversion of electrical energy. Our innovative technology is at a key stage in the diamond devices manufacturing chain that is crucial to the final performance of the component. DiamFab already works with many R&D centres that develop diamond devices from its material and internally develop innovative diamond devices for tomorrow's power electronics.
