Sweden’s Mobile Heights cluster joins the Silicon Europe Alliance
All members of the cluster partners within the Silicon Europe Alliance will benefit from new opportunities to work with Mobile Heights and its members.
Mobile Heights was established in 2009 in southern Sweden and today counts around 100 members from industry and academia. The cluster focuses on on the Future Digital World and, specifically, solutions for digital health, digital society, and digital manufacturing and materials.
“We at Mobile Heights are thrilled to work with Minalogic within the framework of Silicon Europe Alliance. Even stronger collaboration between the tech clusters is a must for Europe to improve our global competitiveness. The strong technology expertise in the Minalogic cluster is a great match with the Mobile Heights tech cluster in southern Sweden, and we are looking forward to deepening our cooperation going forward,” said Mobile Heights Director Ola Svedin.
Silicon Europe Alliance brings partner clusters tangible benefits
The Silicon Europe Alliance, founded in 2005, is a consortium of ten European clusters whose mission is to bolster Europe’s digital and microelectronics industries. Together, the Alliance’s partner clusters—all solidly anchored in leading tech ecosystems—represent some 2,000 members. The Alliance’s mission is to generate synergies and encourage cooperation between its partners and their members.
Over the years, Silicon Europe Alliance partners have built strong relationships that have led to tangible benefits for their respective members:
- Open Innovation Days with Thales and Boston Scientific
- Participation in Minalogic Business Meetings by all Alliance partner clusters
- Shared international business development trips (Semicon Taiwan, New York State, etc.) to promote Europe’s digital ecosystem
- Lobbying EU institutions
- Coordination for member clusters who submitted EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub) proposals
