Four Rhône-Alpes projects selected for France’s Equipex science and technology facilities program
Four projects based in the Rhône-Alpes region addressing Minalogic research topics have been selected for funding under the French government's Equipex program to build advanced science and technology facilities. The grants are part of the French government's economic stimulus package.
The four projects cover the fields of energy, materials science, computer science, and mathematics :
• KINOVIS, to develop technology for the advanced capture and analysis of moving objects
• CRGF, the French Collaborative Research Group beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility
• DURASOL, to use multi-site data to study the accelerated aging of thermal and photovoltaic system components and the corresponding weather correlations
• REFIMEVE+, to create a Europe-wide metrological fiber optic network
