Learn more about Minalogic’s initiatives to support its members’ international development
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Council approved Minalogic’s 2020 international development plan and its financial support for the plan. The international development plan outlines the initiatives (group trips to trade shows and conferences, partnerships, the Minalogic international business convention, country-specific export assistance programs) that Minalogic will offer to help its members speed up their international development.
The three goals of the plan:
- Increase the number of startups, very small businesses, and SMEs operating in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region engaged in a collective effort to penetrate international markets.
- Encourage regional companies that belong to clusters to pool their resources and conduct international sales and marketing campaigns together to raise their collective profile.
- Promote the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region by leveraging its areas of excellence and expand the region’s international activities.

Minalogic Business Meetings
MBM is Minalogic’s flagship international business convention. This year’s MBM will be on June 2, 2020 at the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Council headquarters in Lyon.
Each year, Minalogic Business Meetings brings in around 300 people: half technology providers and half potential buyers. Participants can schedule up to fifteen pre-qualified one-to-one meetings in one day.

The one-to-one meetings run all day. A series of short talks is held in parallel. This year’s theme is design
The Passport program for travel to trade shows in Asia
SMEs (in the European sense of the term) headquartered in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and members of the cluster are eligible for the Passport program, which provides support for fact-finding trips to trade events in Asia on behalf of the cluster with the goal of confirming whether or not the event is a good target for a future group exhibit and/or to facilitate future actions by other cluster members interested in the same trade show or market.
The participating SME must submit a clearly-written report on the trade show. In exchange, the program will cover up to 40% of costs (exhibit, travel, accommodation).

Minalogic will be taking a group of members to ICT Proposers’ Day in Germany in 2020 with the goal of building European project consortia and setting up events in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region to support the success of their future European project submissions!
