A core component of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival is the International Animation Film Market (MIFA), an unmissable global event for the creative and culture industries.

Straddling the culture and innovative technology sectors, the 4 days of MIFA bring together writers, creators, directors, producers, distributors, and buyers of animated movies with video game concept artists, 2D and 3D modeling and animation programs, virtual reality, and more.  

Since culture and new technologies are both part of the economic backbone of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, we have partnered with the Region to develop two different opportunities to exhibit:

• The Minalogic / Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region stand in the New Technologies and XR space, targeting those working in innovative technologies serving the cultural and creative industries
• The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region stand in the Stands & Pavilions space, aimed at those involved in creating, producing, directing and distributing animated movies.

These two options complement each other and will be located in different areas of the trade show. Events and gatherings will be happening throughout the 4 days of the show, to give you the chance to network and find synergies with other attendees.

1. Minalogic / Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region stand in the New Technologies & XR exhibition space.

Aimed at hosting and showcasing companies that offer innovative technologies and solutions for the cultural and creative industries in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. 

Shared 27 m² stand – max 6 companies

The exhibition package includes:

• 2 MIFA passes per company.
• 1 high table.
• 3 high stools per high table.
• Electricity.
• Your logo on the stand panels.
• Shared TV screen (1 between 3 companies),
• Shared storage with key.
• Coffee machine, water.
• 1 networking breakfast.
• Communication before, during, and after the show.

 Cost: €2,300 excl. tax + €200 support fees = € 2,500

2. Content/Talents space in the Stands & Pavilions exhibition space

Aimed at hosting and showcasing the talents and content of those working in animation and video games in the region. Creators of content (animated movies and shows, video games, content for new media, etc.) are especially welcome to participate in this joint stand.

The exhibition package includes:

• 1 MIFA 2024 pass.
• 1 additional pass at the reduced rate of €400 excl. taxes, to be purchased directly from CITIA.
• Opportunity to use a meeting space on the regional stand, subject to prior registration and availability.
• Your organization showcased on the stand (banner and/or video materials).
• Invitation to the joint events happening at the stand.

Whether you are interested in exhibiting on the New Technologies and XR solutions stand (Minalogic / Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region) or the Content / Talents stand (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region), please submit your response to the corresponding Call for Expressions of Interest by no later than Tuesday 30 April 2024.
